So, which waterproof cover to use with your nappies?  Choose from PUL (polyurethane laminate) or fleece nappy covers.  All nappy wraps are required to prevent the moisture (and solids) escaping from the sides as well as providing all over waterproofing.  They are in contact with your baby's skin at the waist and legs.  Most parents agree that the PUL wraps are better suited for newborns as they tend to lie in one position whereas the fleece wraps are kinder on the skin but can wick (leak) when your baby is in one position for a long time.  Fleece wraps are very popular for overnight use.
