Terms & Conditions for nappy loan scheme
Loan period
All loans run from Monday to the Friday in the second week of the loan commencement as indicated on the loan booking calendar.
The loan booking calendar is available at any time on request.
Loans may not be extended for any period except under exceptional circumstances agreed by Kate Lewis or a representative of Nappy Central.
Deposit cheque
The deposit cheque will be banked as soon as it is received. Nappies will not be dispatched until the money has cleared. A direct bank transfer or payment via paypal can be arranged upon request.
Normal wear and tear will not result in the deposit being affected. Mild staining is acceptable however colour runs from a mixed wash load or careless washing will incur charges.
The deposit cheque will be refunded in full on return of the nappies in an acceptable condition.
Conditions under which monies will be deducted:-
· If any of the non-disposable items from the pack are missing or declared lost/damaged.
· If any of the items have been damaged through negligence or misuse which includes the use of fabric softener or fabric conditioner when washing.
· If any of the items have been stained through colour runs from other laundry.
· If the washing instructions have clearly not been followed
The full retail value will be deducted per item of loss or damage. All charges will be notified in writing.
Use of contact information
Contact information declared on this form is for the use of Nappy Central. This information will not be disclosed to any 3rd parties unless the terms of the agreement have been broken.
Original proof of address
acceptable documents
· Household bill dated less than 3 months prior to the date of this form in the name of the applicant or the applicant’s spouse
· Current Driving Licence
· Inland Revenue, Tax, payslip or social security document dated less than 3 months prior to date of this form
All original documents will be returned within one week of receipt.
Delivery & collection of the packs
Packs will be delivered on the Monday specified usually before 12 midday. Arrangements can be made to deliver between 7 pm & 8 pm in the evening but the loan period will not be extended to account for this.
The pack must be made available for collection on the Friday afternoon at the end of the loan period. An alternative collection address can be arranged prior to the collection date as long as it is within NN16 postcode area. Alternatively the pack can be delivered to Nappy Central prior to the agreed collection date.
General
If any of the information given is illegible or unclear Nappy Central will attempt to confirm the correct details via telephone or email. If no response is received the loan request will be cancelled and any monies received will be refunded.
There is a limited number of loan packs therefore they are restricted to 1 application per household.
All cheques should be made payable to Nappy Central.
At present the loan scheme is only available to residents of Kettering Borough. If you live within Northamptonshire but outside this postcode and are interested in the scheme please let us know. We will need this information to justify expanding the scheme. Please email your details to Kate Lewis here
Voucher
On collection of the nappies a voucher will be issued that entitles the user to £20 off when spending £50 or more with Nappy Central. The voucher may only be used once and has to be redeemed via the website www.nappycentral.co.uk. It will be valid for 1 year from the date of the collection of the loan pack. Nappy Central reserves the right to refuse the issue of the voucher if the terms of the loan have been seriously breached.
