Disposal & recycling of nappies
There are several ways to deal with your nappies when you have finished with them.
We always recommend passing them on to another baby but of course this isn't always practical.
If the nappies are in a decent condition they can be sold on websites such as www.usednappies.co.uk or www.preloved.co.uk They cannot be sold on ebay anymore because they are classed as "used underwear". The sites listed above work much like ebay in that you are responsible for the listing and sending the nappies onto the buyer directly.
If the nappies are not suitable for use any longer then the fabrics can usually be recycled. Check with your local council for details on their textile recycling options.
If you would prefer just to see the back of your nappies quickly then please do send CLEAN nappies to us at
Nappy Central (recycling)

Important note :-
Nappy Central does not buy back nappies or offer any incentives for returning nappies to Nappy Central however we are committed to minimising land fill and will ensure that we recycle as much as possible whether that means selling them onwards, donating to charitable causes or recycling the textiles. If we do manage to sell recycled nappies then the proceeds (after costs) will be donated to a charity of our choice.
