Boosters and inserts

Boosters are generally used to provide extra absorbency with fabric nappies and inserts are generally used as stuffing for stuffable nappies.  They are in fact interchangeable but some specific inserts are designed for particular nappies such as the bumGenius ones which means that they fit better within the nappy.

Most parents find that they prefer natural fabrics such as bamboo, hemp or cotton next to the skin and use the synthetic fabrics as inserts.
